The company Inometal d.o.o. has its head office and the logistics & production base in Maribor, the second largest city, and a business, university and cultural centre in Slovenia, at the heart of Central Europe.

Maribor was first mentioned in historic sources in ancient 1253. The city's economy thrived up to the end of the 15th century, and Maribor experienced new prosperity with the industrial revolution and building of the Vienna – Trieste railway line in the mid-19th century. The economic and industrial growth of the modern Maribor started with mechanical engineering and metal processing industry, of which Inometal is also a descendant.

The company prides itself in its extensive and successful reference list of products and services in the area of industrial engineering, design, manufacture and installation of pressure vessels, tanks and silos, furnaces and equipment for steel industry, processing equipment and equipment for protection of the environment, as well as transport and hydromechanic equipment. We should also mention special welding works, servicing and maintenance, and increasing reputation in implementation of highly complex projects related to processing technology, where stainless materials are increasingly being used.
